The South Jersey Jazz Basketball Club is pleased to announce the purchase of The Gun 6000. The Gun 6000 is a professional training machine that provides players the ability to shoot hundreds of shots per hour at a basket. The use of this highly expensive basketball training equipment coupled with proper and professional instruction will build better players for our club and our local high schools. Strong fundamentals and basketball I Q are two ingredients that seem to be missing in many of our young players.

Instruction and training are needed to develop in any sport and basketball is certainly not any different. Using The Gun 6000 creates muscle memory and proper ball arc through repetition which we all know is necessary for building great shooters.

Your club directors believe that practice is exciting and fun when you see results.  The Gun, which is used by the top 25 men’s and women’s college teams in the USA, is sure to help spike enthusiasm and improvement especially for the  players who are eager to learn and want to get better. All of our players- no matter the age group- always want to play games, scrimmage and not practice. They tell their parents and coaches that games are fun and practice is boring. Parents and coaches know that the only way to get better is to work harder than the next guy and practice, practice, practice.

Many of our parents come to our coaches and ask how can I help to get my child better? Is there anything that I can do? Is there anywhere that I can take him/her to get more experience? Parents get frustrated with their children because they don’t listen and players get frustrated because practice is boring. Its old, but it still sounds the same as it was many years ago. Well, parents and players we now have a perfect solution for getting better and having fun- it’s The Gun 6000.

The Gun 6000 puts our club in position to provide our players professional instruction and training for a small cost compared to personal trainers. The Basketball Development Group in conjunction with the South Jersey Jazz Basketball Club is in the process of scheduling time slots for the Fall season. The sessions will be on a first come- first serve basis and the space will be limited. Jazz players will be invited first before we open the sessions to outside players. All training sessions will be held in the Berlin Community School in Berlin, NJ and Overbrook High School in Pine Hill, NJ.  Times, nights, dates & pricing are being worked on so nothing is set in stone at this time.

PLAYERS ARE MADE IN THE OFF SEASON NOT DURING THE SEASON. The Fall is actually the best time to get into the gym to get better. Players usually see greater results at this time of year because everything learned can be applied immediately for their school season. Parents and Players who want more information should call the business office at 856-583-0535.
