Coach Harris played basketball at Overbrook High School and played 2 years of football at the University of Virginia. He has coached in Pine Hill Youth Association Travel Leagues for over 10 years. He is entering his 7th year in the South Jersey Jazz AAU program and last year his 16U team won both the AAU Middle Atlantic Regional Championship and the YBOA New Jersey/Eastern PA Championship. Coach Harris was selected by the Middle Atlantic AAU to coach the 16U All Star Team at the Florida Showcase, four of Coach Harris' players were also selected to play by the AAU committee. Coach Harris has always produced outstanding, highly competitive AAU teams that have consistantly won tournament championships.  Last season, 2007, his team entered 9 tournaments winning 5 and placing 2nd and in 3 others. Coach Harris is an outstanding recruiter, talent evaluator and practice coach.  He believes that to be successful you need to be in the gym working on your game and developing fundamental basketball skills.

Coach Harris graduated from the University of Virginia and is a division inventory control manager for 7-Eleven.
