Coach McGarr is a Paulsboro resident  who has basketball head coaching experience for both in town recreation leagues and travel teams. She has coached for the Paulsboro Youth Association for 5 years and is now entering her second year with the South Jersey Jazz Basketball Club. Her 13u team last year was extremely successful winning 4 of the 6 tournaments that they entered. Coach McGarr is very proud of the fact that in her first year of coaching with the South Jersey Jazz her team received an at large bid from Youth Basketball of America  to compete at their National Tournament in Florida. Coach McGarr is a Board 34 certified basketball referee who believes in fundamental skills and player development. She considers herself a teacher of the game and loves to get the most out of her players.

Coach McGarr has a Bachelors Degree in Business and is employed by Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center as their Director of Volunteer Services.
